In 1952, Cliff and Lola Archer opened Archer Travel at a single desk inside a Greyhound bus station in Southern California. With nothing more than a passion for helping people explore the world and a commitment to personal service, they planted the seeds of what would one day become an international travel company. From that modest beginning, the Archers built a reputation for trust, care, and doing business the right way—values that continue to guide everything we do today.

Archer Travel Is Founded
Archer Travel Service opens its doors as a family-run agency in Southern California, focused on helping local clients book vacations with care and confidence.
Second Generation Takes the Lead
Ron Archer steps into leadership, modernizing operations and investing in supplier relationships while staying true to the company’s family-driven values.
Evolution Travel Partnership Begins
In partnership with Evolution Travel, Archer launches the Home-Based Travel Network—welcoming thousands of new agents into the Archer family and creating a new model of growth and empowerment.
Growth Through Personal Service
Word of mouth spreads, and Archer becomes known for its hands-on, client-first approach. The agency expands to handle cruises, tours, and international travel.
